Step 2: Dialogue
Our diagnosis offers your organization a wealth of material for discussion at all levels of management. A good conversation, that can also be a relevant intervention in itself. That’s why the diagnosis phase is always followed by a dialogue phase in the organization. Executed at the team level and focused on the most important findings and outcomes. The purpose of this intervention is to foster shared ownership within the organization of the current situation and the diagnosed issues, as well as to create a collectively mobilized sense of urgency to work together towards effective improvement.
A solid foundation to work on improvements
Team dialogues are facilitated by The Better Company; the ideal conditions for productive conversations will need to be developed over time. The number of team dialogues required is always determined on a customized basis and depends on the desired depth and impact. Within the scope of a collaboration, the team dialogue at the top of the organization with the highest executive or management team is always included.
To embed a consistent and effective approach, we train your organization so you will be able to facilitate team dialogues yourself. Another element of the dialogue intervention is therefore the masterclass. Our masterclasses are designed to train and educate change management specialists from within the organization to independently and meaningfully share and interpret outcomes and findings with their own teams.
In the dialogue phase, a strong foundation is created for the support that will be needed to determine (Design) and implement (Development) interventions for improvement.
